The galvanised steel staples are essential for pegging greenhouse fabric, shade net and weedmat to the ground to secure and prevent the fabric from coming loose, being tripped over or being blown by the wind.
The strong plastic discs are an added value feature – they cover the angular top end of the staple to prevent feet and objects from catching and hooking onto the staples. The discs create a smooth surface over the U-Nail and are an extra safety feature to the area of fabric pegged into the ground.
